SUNDAY, MARCH 29

As if the last day of a fun week isn’t emotional enough, it is also a day of 10 year anniversaries for Dirtybird Records and Crosstown Rebels!

Dirtybird Records is set to close out Miami Music Week with a slew of B2Bs at Steam Miami on March 29th. After three years of hosting the world famous Dirtybird BBQ in Miami, Claude VonStroke decided to mix things up in honor of their 10 year mark as a label. The expansive open air feel of previous Miami BBQs has been switched up for a tiny, dirty, sweaty nocturnal throwdown: intimate venue, festival size line-up! The show will feature Claude VonStroke, Justin Martin, Shiba San, J. Phlip, Ardalan and Christian Martin

Coinciding with 10 years of Dirtybird Records, the Birds have been nominated for seven International Dance Music Awards at this year’s Winter Music Conference. From best DJ, to best label and best track, Dirtybird’s nominations cover the gambit of categories and show the influence the label has had over the past twelve months.

Voting is open until March 2nd; Lets make this year the year of the bird! Vote now

Few parties can truly claim to make a mark, fewer still in the over crowded madness that has become Miami Music Week, but ten years on, Crosstown Rebels’ marathon Get Lost session, remains a cornerstone of underground music for Miami Music Week and beyond.

For many Get Lost has become THE reason to attend Miami, a sprawling 24-hour party, to duck in and out of, or simply lose yourself in for the duration. With line-ups that dwarf most festivals Get Lost has emerged from an off-kilter after hours at the Electric Pickle into one of electronic music’s flagship events.

As befitting the milestone moment that is a decade of dancing, Get Lost’s 2015 Miami edition will deliver something truly special. A brand new venue, a line up of more than 40 artists, and some truly special sets and live performances.

Far too many magical memories have been created in ten years to list them all, but whether it was arriving to Sasha opening up the afterhours at 5am, or Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler spinning an unannounced back to back at sunset, DJ Harvey’s pop-up disco, Maceo Plex playing live in the afternoon sun or anyone of Rebels’ founder Damian Lazarus’s mindbending sonic journeys, Get Lost has left an indelible impression on thousands of attendees, and is set to continue to pushing the boundaries of underground music in America for another decade.

One month to go! Happy almost Miami Music Week!!
